Various file types may from time to time be made available for an indeterminate period of time and then become unavailable. File types such as: Beta test versions of executable program files, documentation files for proofreading, example data or macro files for testing of the programs and for the testing of the data files themselves, various utility and or batch files, media files, and perhaps some other file types such as these might be made available from time to time so that you might be able to help the author test, proofread, and de-bug the files and programs. Please do not ask about files or programs that you do not see here as being currently available.

Quick discussion of idea: DANCAD3D.COM (tm) can operate automatically from a macro program (script) file. Complex or repetitive tasks can be written out in a macro file, *.MAC, by using the [W]rite command, which can be run by using the [R]un command. Macros or parts of them can also be made with the [O]utput macro command that records macro commands that correspond to the menu commands you operate manually. Commands [W]rite, [R]un, and [O]utput are in DANCAD3D (tm)'s main menu.
Steps to test Macro Program file sets:
Un-zip the macro and its associated files into the current program directory.
Enter the name of the *.MAC file you want to use with the main menu's [R]un command.
Use the [W]rite command to view and modify the example macro code for your own personal use in testing the programs.
Detailed discussion of idea: In this download section there may be some example Macro Program files. You might try to use the description of the macro commands found in "Appendix B" of this Web site (HTML document) to get some information about many of the macro commands that might be used in the example macro files. If you edit the example macro programs be sure that you leave a space between all commands and their parameters. You can try to turn on a macro trace before you run the macro by pressing [M] in DANCAD3D (tm)'s main menu, look for the macro trace indicator to change from OFF to ON at the top of the main menu. The macro trace might help you debug your macros by helping you see where the macro goes wrong. The speed of the macro trace might be able to be changed while the macro is running by pressing [D] to set the delay time, it can take a while for the delay prompt to come up since the current command may need to finish before the program checks to see if you are pressing [D]. You might also try to turn the macro trace ON or OFF automatically by inserting the macro command TRACE into the macro.
