This Web site is dedicated to the thousands of "users" of my programs, those who have helped test my programs over the last 23 or so years, and especially those who shared their experiences with me.

Any use or "Beta Testing" of "This Web Site" constitutes your acknowledgment of your full agreement with the current End User License Agreement ("EULA") and your decision to have this current license supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings. Information and files in "This Web Site" (HTML document and associated files) have been placed here so that long time users of "The Author's" programs DANCAD3D.COM (tm) , DANCAD87.EXE (tm), DANCINEL.EXE (tm), DANCINES.EXE (tm) , DANCAM.EXE (tm) , or DANPLOT.EXE (tm) could help proofread the text of the documentation files or screens displayed, and also help test data files, example files, and or any software programs that might be made available from time to time, to aid "The Author" in finding mistakes, bugs, and other errors, omissions, defects, mistakes, and faults. Everything in "This Web Site" (HTML document and associated files) is "Beta Test", "Beta Code", Experimental, Preliminary, requires proofreading, or is being evaluated for possible revision, and is NOT warranted to be free of defect. To help "The Author" report any bugs, foul-ups, defects, or mistakes that you find, see "SECTION: 8" for instructions. Before you click on an external link and leave this (my) Web site you might want to use the Bookmark command in your browser so that you can find your way back here. Remember that my site is called www.DANCAD3D.com (sm). When you go to other sites you need to abide by the rules of the author of that site. Just because I have offered a link to someone's site here does not mean that I endorse or recommend their products, or approve of how they are using or recommending my products and programs.
I am not responsible for the availability of, or content in, other peoples and companies Web, or ftp, sites and so do not claim, warranty, or guarantee that any or all of the sites indicated, or linked to, will be available when you want them, or that any of the links included in this Web site (HTML document) will work at all. If you find a bad, or inoperative, link try using a search engine to search for the company or product the link was to have been for, the company linked may have moved to a new URL or something. See SECTION: 8 for any possible information there might be about reporting a bug.
The links I have selected to include here are just some sites that I thought might be interesting to look at, or possibly useful to somebody with similar interests. You will have to look at them and make your own decisions about their relevance in your life and world view. Before purchasing anything it might be wise to ask what the seller's return policy is. If you have any problems with the sites linked to from my site I cannot be responsible, liable, and or otherwise involved in your grievance with them or your claim against them.
The inclusion of a link here does not imply that I am stating or suggesting that you may, could, or should use the information found at the sites linked to. The sites may contain proprietary, copyrighted, or patented ideas that you would need to negotiate with the owner of before using or incorporating their ideas into something you display, make, build, or sell.
Here are some links to sites that may have files you may be able to download, or learn from, that are interesting. Some of the files may be free to use, but some may require payment to the author or the company that runs the Web site, be sure that you read the instructions at the site when you visit. Inclusion of any link to a site here does not mean that I am endorsing their products, it just means that you might give their site a look over and make your own decision about their products. Some of the trade marks mentioned on this page belong to the companies linked to, the author of the program, or the trade mark owner.
OSLO-EDU (tm) by Sinclair Optics Inc. (tm), this seemed to be a "free" sample program that might work on optical systems with up to about 10 surfaces when I looked at their site last time, check for the current status of their programs. The program may have a nice ray trace display of the image spot and sample files you can play with to see how the rays move when you change settings. This might be relevant to this site for designing scanning and laser optics, or designing optical projects.
ARACHNE (tm), by xCahaos (tm) this seems to be a graphic mode DOS HTML browser that might work to read HTML documentation on computers that only have DOS as an OS. I think this program will display some graphics file formats, check it out with the HTML code you will need to use. Some payment may be required for using this browser or some of its components, check their Web site. This might be relevant for reading this documentation on computers that only have DOS.
http://www.fdisk.com/doslynx/lynxport.htm
http://www.fdisk.com/doslynx/bobcat.htm
LYNX (tm) and BOBCAT (tm) by "Wayne" these seem to be "free" text DOS HTML browsers that might work to read HTML documentation on computers that only have DOS as an OS, but have only a text video board. BOBCAT (tm) may work on a computer as low as a 8086, and LYNX (tm) on '386 and up. Check them out with the HTML code you will need to use. Check their Web site for use restrictions. This might be relevant for reading this documentation on computers that only have DOS, but no graphics.
Simply Web 2000 (tm), by EconoNet International Inc., this seems to be a "free" browser program that will read Web sites to you as speech through your computer's sound board. You might be able to use this to have this Web site read to you.
http://www.bellcraft.com/deskbot/
DeskBot (tm) by bellcraft.com (tm), this seems to be a "free" program that will read Web sites, or text files, to you as speech through your computer's sound board, if you hi-light the part of the text you want to read by holding down the left mouse button, and rolling the mouse until the part of the text is all with a blue background, then select copy to clipboard, it will then read the text to you. It can make any text file or HTML document into a talking book. You may be able to use this to have this Web site read to you by the talking figure.
IRFANVIEW32 (tm) by Irfan Skiljan, this seems to be a semi "free" graphics program that will read many graphics formats, and might display AVI and MPG files at adjustable speed, with the sound in sync. Check his site for the current information regarding payment and use restrictions. This might be useful for viewing or converting some graphic formats my programs do not support.
FreeDOS (tm), is "free" DOS type OS that is has been developed and supports FAT32 for use with large harddrives e.g. 500GB up to about 2.1TB. Check the FreeDOS (tm) site for the current information and use restrictions. This OS, or some DOS type OS like it, might be usable with the Protected memory mode versions of my programs on junk computers that do not have another OS loaded. You might volunteer to help them develop their OS project. If you are going to use the Motion Picture Kinema commands with my programs you will probably want to use FreeDOS FAT32 (tm) on your large harddrives so you can move them from one computer to another for frame processing etc. without the problems that Windows (tm) can give you.
ftp://ftp.uu.net/pub/archiving/zip/
WiZ 4.01 (tm), this seems to be a "free" UnZip program that is being developed. Check the sites for the current information and use restrictions. This or other UnZip programs may work with my *.ZIP files, but I cannot and do not claim that any one of them will work properly.
http://www.shareup.com/SimpleDownload-download-40181.html
SimpleDownload (tm), seems to be a "free" file downloading program. Check their site for the current information and use restrictions. The link to download the program file may not be working at the author's Web site, so you may need to use Google (tm) to find the Simple Download v3.1, or later, program file on some Freeware download site somewhere. SimpleDownload (tm) seems to let you interrupt the downloading of a large file, and then resume the downloading from the point where you paused. It may also let you resume a download after your ISP has broken your connection because you were on-line longer than your continuous connection time limit. If you have trouble downloading a large file because you keep getting broken connections before the download is finished, you might try SimpleDownload (tm) or a similar program and see if that helps you complete your downloads. A program like this might also be useful for downloading the large Linux or other *.iso CD image files, since you might be able to pause the downloading, use your computer for something else, and then resume the downloading over the several days it might take to download such large files through a modem. SimpleDownload (tm) may also reduce your total download time since it has features that can speed up downloads in some cases. SimpleDownload (tm) v3.1 may help you download some of the larger *.ZIP files from this site if you have been having problems getting your browser to download them.

These sites seem to have links for, or to, many "free" type programs you can download, and or links to more sites from where you might be able to download programs to your computer. Always check with the author's site for information and rules regarding their programs. If you need some feature my programs do not currently have there are a lot of "free" programs on the internet, someone else may have already done what you want.
