This Web site is dedicated to the thousands of "users" of my programs, those who have helped test my programs over the last 25 or so years, and especially those who shared their experiences with me.
You must read this notice: This is a licensed Web site (HTML document and associated files). You must read and agree to be legally bound in contract by the Terms of Use and conditions given in the End User License Agreement ("EULA"), Legal Notices, Instructions, Warnings, Disclaimers, and all other text in "SECTION: 0" of "This Web Site" (HTML document and associated files) before reading or using any of the information, software programs, and or files, contained in, linked to, and or associated with, "This Web Site" (HTML document and associated files). Any use or "Beta Testing" of "This Web Site" constitutes your acknowledgment of your full agreement with the current End User License Agreement ("EULA") and your decision to have this current license supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings. Information and files in "This Web Site" (HTML document and associated files) have been placed here so that long time users of "The Author's" programs DANCAD3D.COM (tm) , DANCAD87.EXE (tm), DANCINEL.EXE (tm), DANCINES.EXE (tm) , DANCAM.EXE (tm) , or DANPLOT.EXE (tm) could help proofread the text of the documentation files or screens displayed, and also help test data files, example files, and or any software programs that might be made available from time to time, to aid "The Author" in finding mistakes, bugs, and other errors, omissions, defects, mistakes, and faults. Everything in "This Web Site" (HTML document and associated files) is "Beta Test", "Beta Code", Experimental, Preliminary, requires proofreading, or is being evaluated for possible revision, and is NOT warranted to be free of defect. To help "The Author" report any bugs, foul-ups, defects, or mistakes that you find, see "SECTION: 8" for instructions. "This Web Site" (HTML document and associated files) and all other files and programs by Daniel H. Hudgins are made available "AS IS" without warranty of any kind express, expressed, or implied. All offers and specifications are subject to change or discontinuation without notice of any kind. Please look over "SECTION: 8" of "This Web Site" before contacting "The Author."
If you wish to speak to me about my programs or this Web site it is best to e-mail me at the current e-mail address given on the e-mail address page in SECTION: 8.30.0.0.
Please read all of SECTION: 8.0.0.0 as well as all of this sub-section and the "EULA" in SECTION: 0 before you try to contact me. Subjects that do not correspond to the topic of one of the current "Correspondence Forms" do not generally fall under "support" at this time, and should not be submitted to me at this time.
The guidelines in this sub-section relating to correspondence are preliminary and may undergo revision, or other changes, so you should check the current "On-Line" version of this sub-section before trying to correspond with me, "The Author" of "This Web Site." If the "On-Line" version of "This Web Site" (HTML document) is unavailable for some reason, it would be best for you to wait until it is available again. All guidelines, statements, procedures, and specifications are subject to change or discontinuation without notice. All support for "The Author's Creations" may become unavailable at any time.
Over the years I have probably answered thousands of letters. From my long experience of answering all of these letters I am developing some procedures to reduce extraneous Correspondence and streamline the support process. To make it easier for you to help streamline your correspondence I ask that you follow the guidelines regarding correspondence, rather than composing a letter or e-mail that might omit some information I might desire, or contain extraneous material that I might not desire. I appreciate your cooperation in helping me to streamline my support efforts, thank-you.
I prefer that you e-mail me now rather than message by way of the telephone system.
I prefer that you e-mail me now rather than message by way of the telephone system, unless you are unable to send an e-mail.
In order to make it easier for you to report program and other bugs I am experimenting with letting "Beta Testers" leave voice reports on my answering machine. I will not pick up the phone and talk to you in most or all instances, nor am I likely to call you back even if you ask me to. This is for the most part only a message drop off.
You must agree before submitting by leaving a phone message that all of your messages submitted are subject in perpetuity to the current transfer of Copyright, transfer of Patent rights, and other terms and conditions relating to submissions in SECTION: 0 including but not limited to the current "EULA". Your voice message and its derivatives are to be reproduced, published, and exploited in any form at the discretion of Daniel H. Hudgins without you ever receiving any compensation of any kind. Nothing that you say while leaving a voice message will remain private, so do not leave any voice messages that contain anything you might not want published and reproduced for the public to read or hear. When reproduced messages are to be edited or altered, you will have no control whatsoever over how your message is edited or altered.
This experimental message drop off is just for the use of active "Beta Testers" and not for questions from anyone else. This mode of contact may end at any time without notice. Rules for the use of the phone message drop off may change over time or may be discontinued so please do not call the phone number listed if this page is no longer shown in the current "On-Line" version of my Web site. Do not reproduce my phone number in newsgroups or other places.
Be sure that you state the program name, version, and compile date and time for the *.COM or *.EXE file so that I can know what program revision you are talking about.
By dialing the phone number shown below you are acknowledging your acceptance of all Terms and Conditions governing submissions and related activities stated in the current "EULA" in SECTION: 0 of this Web site, and agreeing to be legally bound in contract by those Terms and Conditions.
By submitting via phone message drop you thereby grant that any information you submit shall become the sole property of Daniel H. Hudgins to do with as he wishes in perpetuity without compensation to you of any kind. You agree not to submit any information that you wish to have be kept: secure, confidential, private, or rights to. This submission mode is governed by, and should only be used in accord with, the current Terms of Use and "EULA" license in Section: 0 of this www.DANCAD3D.com (sm) Web site. Do not submit via this submission mode if you are not currently an active "Beta Tester".
If you do not see an answer to your Question for the FAQ in the FAQ section after 60 days you might try again since I may not have gotten your message because the answering machine was hard to understand or otherwise wasn't working as one might hope. The same goes for Bug Reports if you do not see an update after 60 days it might be because your report did not contain enough detail for me to find the problem, if it was a program bug in the first place. Phone messages that are not of general interest may not get a reply in the FAQ, so it would be better if you can send your questions in an e-mail so that I have the option to reply directly to you about the issue you bring up.
If I put the Web CAM back in operation (it has been down for some time while I make some changes), it might be best to leave phone drop off messages when the Web CAM is operating and you see me working at the computer, but this is not an absolute requirement during the active span of this Web site revision since I may be using this phone line to connect to the internet and the phone may be busy sometimes while the Web CAM is operating. In general I do not pick up my phone unless I hear someone on the speaker that I want to speak to at that time, so if you do not start to leave a message you will probably never get in contact with me by phone. Since I am in and out it is best to e-mail me so I can pick up your message when I am around.
